Memories of Sunrises past...
I was never one for waking up early... In fact, nothing makes me grumpier than having to be up early (it takes hours to qualm the grump). So, you can imagine that a dream of seeing a sunrise is near impossible.... Unless you do it in winter, when the sun rises later.
Now, Muizenberg (Cape Town) is a sea-side suburb famous for surfing, warm waters and a bit of fishing (perhaps also the occasional shark). It is also mostly known for these colourful cabins on the beach.
The sun rose slowly, behind the mountains, with the most beautiful view:
